THE PULP & PAPER ALLIANCE CONFERENCE – SECOND EDITION

The Second Pulp & Paper Alliance (PPA) Conference, held at the 5★ Hotel 1898 in Barcelona, Spain, on 14–15 September 2026, brought the pulp and paper logistics community together once again for knowledge exchange, collaboration and networking. The Pulp & Paper Alliance Conference was designed to be a place where the people behind our industry could meet face to face, compare notes and talk openly about the challenges and solutions. In Barcelona's hospitality, those conversations moved naturally from presentations to networking, where new contacts were made, and existing relationships were strengthened.

A Community Growing Stronger

With over 40 participants spanning the pulp and paper supply chain, including producers, traders, shipping lines, freight forwarders, equipment providers, road transport operators, ports, terminals, consultants and associations, the event provided a space for sharing solutions, discussing concerns of our changing industry and making genuine connections through it all.

A Focused Agenda on Pulp and Paper Logistics, Global Markets and Incoming Challenges

After a balmy evening reception cocktail on the 14th September under a setting sun over the horizon of Barcelona, where our attendees shared some business cards and glasses of cava over their common purpose, the main conference day on the 15th featured a formal program centered on the challenges and opportunities shaping pulp and paper transport and supply chains:

The afternoon closed with Drinks, Connections & Conversations, an informal networking session where delegates continued the discussions, asked more questions, and continued to make new contacts.
