Carsten Hellmers, Monique Geisler, and Alexander Hellmers, who lead Alexander Global Logistics (AGL) and are members of the Pulp & Paper Alliance, are proud to announce a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing growth: the groundbreaking of a new, state-of-the-art logistics facility in Bremerhaven. Strategically located within one mile of the Bremerhaven container terminal, the new facility will feature 18,000 m² (194,000 sq ft) of cutting-edge warehouse space, direct rail access, and the latest standards for hygiene and safety standards for sensitive goods like fluff pulp used in hygiene products, packaging, and textiles. With over 260,000 m² (approx. 2.8 million sq ft) of total logistics space at its Bremerhaven campus, AGL will operate one of Europe’s largest and most specialized platforms for forest product logistics.
This project is strategically aligned with the needs of the pulp and paper industry. As a company fully dedicated to this sector, AGL sees the new facility not only as an expansion but also as a long-term milestone for the future of pulp and paper logistics in Europe.

Sustainability is at the core of this project: a 1.7-megawatt solar power system and rail-integrated infrastructure will ensure eco-efficient operations with a minimal carbon footprint. Beyond its environmental impact, AGL is also proud to be creating over 20 new jobs and securing more than 10 existing ones in the region. This investment is more than just a building it’s a promise to customers that AGL will remain a strong, future-ready partner for logistics solutions in fluff pulp, paper, and beyond.
The facility is scheduled to open at the end of Q1 in 2026. Once the warehouse is completed, AGL will host a formal opening ceremony to which every customer will be invited including a gala dinner and an unusual event setup that will make it a night to remember.
